I recently took the first-year screening exam for Ph.D. students in the statistics group in the Department of Data Sciences and Operations at Marshall. Since I started applying to grad school, I’ve been writing up review notes to help me with math. Originally the purpose of the notes was to help me study for the GRE Math Subject Test, but after starting at grad school I continued building on the notes with things I learned from my grad school classes.

The notes are not perfect; there are unclear and incomplete parts and almost certainly some mistakes and inaccuracies. (It also features a few of my own beautiful hand-drawn figures, like the one I included in this post.) However, since I just finished my screening exam, they’re probably about as good as they’re going to get for a while, and I think they’re still a pretty good resource. So I’m sharing the link for anyone to view my math review notes here (and you can even edit them for your own purposes if you want). I hope they’re useful to someone. Let me know if they help you out!
